What do you do when you can't hold your annual fundraiser race due to COVID-19 restrictions? The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary (SAWA) will host a Kettle Krush "Race in Place" broadcast event on May 16 at 9 a.m. on www.facebook.kkatlanta5K. I would love for you join my team! Race proceeds will help SAWA and The Salvation Army “krush” poverty, homelessness and sex trafficking, and support veterans and youth enrichment in the Atlanta area. Due to COVID-19 and social distancing restrictions, no running or walking is required and all will be eligible for awards and prizes. In addition, all participants will receive a commemorative short-sleeved, soft cotton T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the 2 teams with the most participants signed up (minimum 10).
