Kettle Krush 5K - Race in Place! in Atlanta, GA - Details, Registration, and Results

Unfortunately due to the current COVID-19 situation, we can’t race! However, because The Salvation Army needs our financial support more than ever before we hope you will join us for a Race in Place event broadcast on Facebook Live on May 16 from the comfort of your own home! All participants will receive a short-sleeved, soft cotton blend T-shirt and all entrants are eligible for overall, masters and age group awards without even running!

This Race in Place event is open to ANYONE who wants to support the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary’s Kettle Krush 5K and The Salvation Army! SAWA will hold a drawing for all individual prizes. Team prizes will also be awarded. (See details under AWARDS.) No running or walking is required to enter! Learn how The Salvation Army and SAWA are striving to “krush” poverty, homelessness and sex trafficking, and support veterans and youth enrichment in metro Atlanta.

ENTRY FEE: $30 (received by 5/6 at 11:59 p.m.), $35 (received by 5/13).

DONATIONS: If you would like to simply make a financial contribution, your donation is always welcome. Please make your check payable to The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary and write Kettle Krush on the bottom “for” line of your check and mail to Kettle Krush c/o PRRC, P.O. Box 81777, Atlanta, GA 30366.

AWARDS: Drawing for awards for first overall m/f and masters m/f runners and top three m/f runners in 16 age brackets from 10 & under to 80 & over.

TEAM COMPETITION/PRIZES: Special prizes to top 2 teams with most participants (minimum of 10 participants to be eligible). Must be registered by 5/13.

SPECIAL GIVEAWAYS: All participants are eligible to participate in the drawings for special giveaways also!

REQUEST: Use #KettleKrushRaceinPlace by 5/14 to show us the creative ways you are racing in place before our FB broadcast
